G5 Sub-Base Material Johannesburg is used as filling and a base coarse under roads and paving. This material may contain approved natural fines not obtained from parent rock. The nominal maximum size for uncrushed material is 63mm and for crushed 53mm.

Our G1 Sub-base is produced from drilled and blasted blue granite rock mined at our quarry. This rock is further crushed down to <37.5mm to produce a manufactured crushed aggregate sub-base.
